Course completion certificate
A finished course deserves a piece of paper. It also deserves an honest one — this says what it is, which is a family record of work completed.

Optional, and more useful than the certificate itself. If anyone ever asks what this course contained, the answer should be one paragraph away rather than four years away.

Course description in one or two sentences
What this is not. A certificate a parent signs is a family record of work completed. It is
not an accredited qualification, a diploma, or evidence that any particular institution will accept the
course. Where a credential is needed, that comes from your local requirements and the receiving institution
— not from a printed page. Keep this with the
transcript working record, which is the document that does the heavier
lifting later.
Give it to the child anyway. Finishing a whole course of mathematics is a real thing to have done.
